I am not surprised by the nurses reaction. Nurses have been trying to micromanage our profession for years. We must stand together and remember we are a profession that deserves respect. Why must we wait for a nurse to inject? Nurses have been ordering x-rays for years and when they get caught they get a slap in the wrist or it is ignored. Maybe it is time we pay attention to what the nurses are doing and let them know loud and clear we will not tolerate their negative reaction to something so important to our profession!
